weekend after Easter

Do a lot of your family members typically travel OOT for Easter? If not, I wouldn't think it's that big of deal. Easter isn't typically a three day weekend, unless you get Good Friday off and I feel like most people aren't making HUGE long weekend trips for it (or maybe that's just me). If you're worried, you could send out save the dates earlier to get it in people's calendars.

We're getting married on a holiday weekend because the weekend is special to us and you'll be surprised, we didn't receive nearly as many declines as we thought we would.

I wouldn't think it would be an issue. I don't know many people who take a week long vacation for Easter.

My wedding is the week after Easter too, and I'm not worried. I think the only thing that might affect it is if people travel when their kids are on spring break. But, all schools are different, so it's not something I'm going to turn into my problem. Check with your VIPs if you're stressing about it.

Ours was the weekend before Easter. It actually worked out well! We ended up with a lot of OOT family sticking around for the whole week in order to stay to celebrate Easter together!

I think it's fine. My friend's wedding was ON Easter Sunday this year and she still had a really good turn out.

Yayyy date twin!! I am not concerned that people will not be able to show up, I feel Easter isn't a huge traveling holiday
