I guess my wedding will be on Columbus Day weekend but it is no biggie - it is not like people have big reunions or picnics on that day!

Went to a July 4th wedding - it was okay. It was outside, super hot and I wanted to be sitting on the deck by a lake, truthfully.

Does Columbus day weekend count? LOL. My wedding will be that weekend due to most of my family being off (government officials)

The only "holiday" weddings I have done were one on New Year's Eve and one on Valentine's Day.

I have been invited to others, but they are family holiday's for me and I spend them with my immediate family. I wouldn't leave my children at home alone on a major holiday to attend a wedding. That is just me now. Maybe at 21 I would have went.
