So I'm new to all this and I have a very small budget but I was going to have a beach wedding without a reception and just do that but what do you guys think should I at least try to make some type of reception for after

    You need to have a reception. If you are working with a small budget, get married in the early afternoon 1 or 2pm and then have a simple cake and punch reception afterwards. You could also invite a small number of people to your ceremony and then host them at lunch or dinner at a restaurant somewhere, in a private room. You could also elope!
