Wedding wire vs. the knot vs. wedding bee vs. project wedding vs.....Are you a member?

I am on this site and Wedding Bee. I love the DIY section of Wedding Bee. When I first started looking for ideas I signed up at the Knot but I don't like the way their forums work and the video banner at the top of the screen is really annoying but there are a lot of great DIY ideas there too.

I also tried the Knot, but found I really love WW.

I'm a member of the Knot, but after asking a few questions and getting the stink eye from other brides I stopped going to the forums there. I did like their monthly emails until they stopped sending them to me for some weird reason.

I signed up for a few but only post here.. much better!

I am on here and the Knot. Wedding Wire is a lot easier to navigate. Also being able to see reviews from previous brides was really helpful. We found our photographer on WeddingWire after reading her reviews and we were able to get a lot of information from wedding wire.

I agree with The Knot's layout being too complex. I played around on The Nest for a bit but got bored, and could never remember where all I had posted because of the numerous forums and topics.

@ Pumpkin, maybe the stopped sending you the emails because they found out you like WW more! :-) lol HA!

I'm only on this site, and I lovet it so much! I learned so much I think the girls here are great i know i don't post a lot but i'm on it everyday. WW is the best!!!

I'm on the Knot as well as WW but really on us it for the guest list... I like the layout better, I can see all the people in the parties instead of just the party name.... but I might prefer WW for the budget tool and forums... I find the comments in the Knot very catty....

For those of you who do not like Knot TV, there is a simple way around it. If you look at the URL you are going to, it will be something like:

http://forums.theknot.com/default.aspx?path=http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_budget-weddings

Just eliminate the part that says http://forums.theknot.com/default.aspx?path=

So for the board above, you would use:

http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_budget-weddings

That will give you the same page, but without Knot TV.

I'm very glad I found this forum. For the brides, I have a question for you. I contacted The Knot about advertising but am hesitant because I don't see many invitation vendors that are local (to my area). I do see them here, however, and I wonder if that's because this site gets more brides' attention. Do you, as a bride, feel this is where you will go for invitations (which is my business) and your other wedding information? I'm doing lots of research for the best places to advertise, and I'd love your advice. Thank you!

I wanted to add that the employees at this site have been extremely helpful and very kind. That's part of what will keep me here.
