Wedding Website Content

Hi all Smiley heart !

We are in the midst of planning and setting up our wedding website. Many of our guests have not been to a wedding in years (maybe even decades) and/or have not been to a more traditional wedding at all. I wanted to include a section of our website that has some basic wedding etiquette info. I would mask it under a general "FAQ section"

What do you think?

What should the section be called? My corporate side wants to just put it as an "FAQ" but want it to be a little nicer than that. Any idea and/or thoughts would be helpful.

Thank you so much!

I think FAQ is good, and many brides have that on their website anyway! I sure do, I don't think it's too formal.

I also think this is a good idea, especially if you're sure that they aren't sure what to do or wear to a traditional wedding!

I called my FAQ... because that's what it was.

I included dress code (that was my most FAQ).

Here are some other questions I answered there:

WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD WE FLY INTO?

    HOW HOT WILL IT BE?

WHAT IS THE WEDDING DRESS CODE?

IS THERE A WAY TO SHARE/GET PHOTOS?

WHAT IS PARKING LIKE AT THE WEDDING VENUE?

WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR SEPTEMBER 10TH?

I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION. WHERE CAN I GET AN ANSWER?

I have a lot of that info on my website as well. I also added a "tell us about the food" - I have always hated just selecting "beef, chicken, fish", not knowing exactly WHAT each selection entailed. I have a Hotel Block information section, as well as a list of other available hotels that did not have a block reservation. I included an Uber and Lyft calculator link for those wondering if they should rent a car.

I think it’s a great idea to have a section for this. I’m not sure what to call it, because if it’s FAQ and a guest doesn’t think they have any, they won’t click on it. Also, I would be careful how things are worded too… it seems like in our culture today, everyone is so easily offended. I can’t wait to hear what you decide to do. I didn’t even think about this, but now I’m thinking I should too!
