Wedding Venue until Midnight (Southern California)

Jennifer, on January 16, 2014 at 4:42 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

Hello!

I will be getting married April 2015, the exact date hasn't been decided yet until we find the right venue. I want a farm/barn/ranch/rustic wedding, the groom lives in Lancaster, CA and I live in the Inland Empire. We are open to having our wedding pretty much anywhere in southern Cali. I am hoping to keep the site fee at about 3500 or so. Every venue I've liked so far has outdoor music to end at 10 pm so I am also looking for the venue to let reception go until midnight. I would really appreciate any information you guys have to offer.

Thank you.

Almost any venue in the area that is out doors will have outside music that ends at 10 because of noise ordinances. Unless you find something with a large ammount of land, consider indoors...

I am open to having it indoors, but venues still ask for the reception to be over at 10pm.

Marvimon is a little above your budget, but rentals, lounge furniture, lighting, and sound system are included in the rental price. There's a courtyard for the wedding and indoor area for the reception. It's not a barn, but it's rustic and vintage Smiley smile

Check out the McCoy Equestrian Center in Chino Hills, CA. I have a friend getting married there this June. It's outdoors, rustic, barn, and fun!

I don't know how late they allow music but I think they are in your budget??

ETA: Specifically the McCoy Barn is used for wedding events.

If going late is important to you, have you considered one of the Indian Casino Hotels... they are on sovereign land, and thus, can set up their own rules. Our party is going to midnight...

I was going to say, I have a friend who is in the tribe that owns www.pechanga.com. I've stayed there and it is amazing, as is the food. Similar to Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. They have their own ranch and raise their own beef, which is divine. The golf club is quite luxurious and has great views of the mountains. It's in Temecula, about 45 minutes from LA or San Diego.

Like your finace, my husband and I live in Lancaster! Some places I think you might consider looking into are Orcutt Ranch in West Hills, Newland Barn in Huntington Beach and Middle Ranch in Sylmar. Most of these venues require you to take all your stuff and some of them don't have a cut off time on their website so you might have to call and ask. Hope this helps!
