Hello all! I am over here s t r u g g l i n g on a wedding venue. One venue in particular is checking all the boxes for me except the layout, which is why I haven’t fully committed to the venue. The flow of the space is throwing me off. There are two rooms, I would have dinner in one room and dancing in the bar room because the main room would be too small if I put the dance floor in that room. The two rooms are connected to each other but I am unsure if it is weird to separate the dancing from dining. I have no idea if I should hire an event planner to help with the flow or how much that would cost. I am also debating on hanging a floral piece above the dance floor as well as draping/ lights. I have attached some photos showing what the space looks like. The space also overlooks two bridges, has water views, and the NYC skyline so it is great in that aspect. The doors in between the two rooms also completely opens up. Any thoughts/ ideas would be greatly appreciated!! cfb_2x_1441903.jpg

I’m just a little concerned on filling the dance room space just because it’s 3,000 square feet that area so I feel I would definitely need lounge furniture around the perimeters of it so not sure how much that will cost Smiley sad

Maybe you'll need to get creative with other ideas to fill the space... Lounge furniture, sure. But if you're going to do a photo booth that can take up a bunch of space. Maybe some tables displaying pictures of you and your FH from childhood to adulthood. I think you can definitely make it work!
