Wedding veil with short hair.

I'm considering it. I'm trying to grow my hair out so I have options but after shaving it this summer it's hard! I went to Claire's and tried on a bunch of cheap headpieces to get a better idea of the style I wanted. They have a ton of selection.

What about a headband with some jewels or detail. I also think that birdcage look good when you have short hair.... you could also just skip the veil and wear a kick ass pair of earrings

I'm wearing a birdcage veil for the ceremony and headband for the reception. I agree with the other ladies if you want just skip the veil altogether.

I have long hair, but my SIL had short hair at her wedding. She wore a bandeau veil, which was gorgeous and so dramatic! I think a flower crown looks great on short hair too. Also, many 20s brides had short hair and wore Juliet caps, and that looks stunning in all the old photos.

I bought a veil, but now I'm not sure if I'll end up using it. I don't like the look of birdcage veils or headbands (there's nothing wrong with them, they just aren't the right style for my wedding), but I'm not sure how the traditional veil will look with my shorter hair. Hairstyle is becoming one of the biggest issues for me!

I wore a veil with my short hair (and a cathedral length veil at that). I meant to put a hairpiece in after I took it off for the reception but I forgot lol.
