Wedding songs

I wanted this one so bad!! FI vetoed it! Such a sweet song, and I had it all timed out that right after the part about getting him to the church on time, that's when we'd walk down the aisle together. *sigh* Très romantique!

I agonized over this for MONTHS and finally chose Keane's Somewhere Only We Know. It's a harp instrumental and it's very sentimental to me. And FH did not veto it so it is done. I wash my hands. LOL.

Easy peasy. When you do your rehearsal, time how long it takes everyone to get down the aisle. Let's say it takes 1 minute, 30 seconds (or 90 seconds).

Then you're gonna go backward. The wedding scene starts at 2 minutes 27 seconds. So subtract 90 seconds. That takes you to 57 seconds deep. Let the music start, and then at 57 seconds in (that's just about when the first chorus starts), that's when your party will walk down. Then you walk down. Then there's still a bit of music left so you can either have it fade out, or you can walk very slowly. LOL.

Of course, this is just if everything flows smoothly and if it takes 90 seconds for your party to walk down. I had planned on giving a buffer, so everyone else would walk down as the music started and then we'd just wait until it got to the wedding part to make our grand entrance.
