What wedding signage will you/have you used/seen at weddings? I know we want a welcome sign, a seating chart, the menu (buffet dinner), & dessert menu, but I can’t think what else!

I like the idea of using florals around a seating chart or other similar items (welcome sign, etc.), so I’ll probably be doing something like that.

I'm laaaaaazy, so we're just doing a eating chart. I should do one for the guest book too, but right now I just can't face any more DIY. Smiley smile

We are making all our signs including the gift and card table, menus (we're having family style so a menu per table), welcome sign asking people to take their placecards. I haven't finished these as our selections for vegetarian and vegan are not confirmed.

We have a chalkboard sign for the bar and have a few more chalkboard signs, we may use one for our hashtag. Also hanging up this sign that goes with our theme and matched our save the dates.

I agree. We are doing escort cards so we won’t need a seating chart sign. Might do one instead of a program but probably not lol.

I agree with the pps saying signs are over done. FH and I tried to with as few signs as possible, but our venue is requiring a welcome sign and a signature drink sign. We also had our designer create a sign asking people not to take our decor because my first wedding my parents were chasing people down as they were trying to walk out the door with with hand blown glass trees we used for centerpieces that were extremely expensive that were not free to take. FH and I plan on keeping our decor and displaying them in our house, so I am terrified this time around people will be walking off with things that mean a lot to us. We don't have one for the guest book, I think people can figure that out on their own.

We have not done anything when it comes to signs but this is my inspiration!

I am very lucky I have very crafty and handy people in my life. FH will make the sign and my sister (MOH) want to paint the signs. Smiley love

I love this one! Wedding Signs 2

But I also love this one! So I cannot decide which one is better! Wedding Signs 3

I also like the idea. But I go back and forth! But if I do it, it will be like the other signs! Wedding Signs 4

We also have a "Share the Love" sign with our hashtag, a Cards and Gifts sign, and a reserved sign on some seats for parents and grandparents. Since we're having a guestbook canvas where you sign a leaf, we had a sign explaining that. We're thinking of having a "choose seat, not side" sign, but might just stick with the Welcome sign. We have our buffet menu on the programs.

This is our welcome sign which will be decorated with greenery and a few flowers. Other than this we will have a card/gift table sign, please sign our guest canvas sign, a sign that says “All you need is love & dessert” for our cake table, and then we have a gold sign that says “Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be” which will be accompanied by a photo of myself and my fiancé as young children on each side of it. We may do a bar menu sign as well so that people know exactly what’s available.

So far we have an unplugged ceremony sign and that is all that will be displayed during the ceremony.

In the reception area, we will have a few photo frames displaying our wedding hashtag, our signature drinks and drinks available at the bar, as well as a framed sign by our guestbook. We are not creating a seating chart since each person's wedding favor will also indicate where they are sitting... so we want to make sure everyone picks that up off the wedding favor table instead of just checking the sign and leaving their favor (it's cookies, they should want to take them anyway!)

    We have:

    1. welcome sign

    2. escort card/favors because the bottles we're providing act as both.

    3. Photo booth guest book sign

    4. In Memory of sign

I'm wondering if we should make one for the bar, too? For some reason I didn't think of that..

Were doing a welcome sign, a program sign (instead of individual programs - doing at my FMIL's insistence), a seating chart, a menu sign (so guests with allergies know), a cake flavors sign (so guests with allergies know), a bar sign (for available drinks), a guest book sign, a cards/gifts sign, and an in memory sign. Pretty much all just informational stuff. I'm only going to pay to do the program sign and seating chart professionally; all the rest I'll just print and put in a frame.
