Wedding Shoes

I was really set on wearing heels, but the only heels I really wear are approximately 4”. I found a few pairs that i really like, but now I have to reconsider. We’re getting married in a National Park, so heels probably aren’t practical. My FH also found out a few days ago that he got shorter and where he used to be 5’7.5” but now he’s 5’6”. He’s kind of bitter about it. I’m 5’5.5” so now we’re almost the same height. I don’t want to wear flats because I like wearing heels and I’ve wanted to wear them for my wedding day, but I also don’t want to make him feel uncomfortable by being taller than him. So I don’t know what to do.

You really just have to decide if it's more important for you to wear the heels you want to wear or for your FH to feel comfortable. But since you say it wouldn't be practical to wear heels anyways due to your location, it sounds like a pretty simple solution. There are lots of non-heel options out there that still look just as bridal Smiley smile

Has your FH said he would be uncomfortable if you appeared taller?

LOL so I am not the only one with the same problem. There are some ALDO shoes I have been eyeing and I could walk in 4 inch heels but it would be slow. I would say for height and that it is a park I would do some cute ballet flats. At best a 1 inch heel. Check DSW.

What about some wedges? It's kind of a compromise. They're not as tall as some heels, but you'll still get that elevated feeling & they provide a sturdy surface for the outdoors.
