Wedding Rehearsal brunch instead of dinner?

So everyone in our entire BP lives out of town or state except for 1 BM. Several people have kids and/or will be out of town until the morning of or late night before the wedding. Id still like to rehearse but I thought maybe we could do a rehearsal dinner brunch that morning with mimosas and what not and then get ready, etc. That would also ensure we ate before the wedding (5:30 PM). Would this be really odd? I feel like this is better than rehearsing with only half a BP. Thoughts?
