Hey ladies I'm not really sure what I'm doing I'm very new to this and just started planning for June next year. Can anyone help me sort things out? It might just be wedding anxiety but I have no idea what I'm doing 😅

Totally normal! And congrats Smiley smile I’d say start with picking a season, a venue, and a date. Probably a coordinator too if you are looking to have one. Those were the ones we did first and it’s been going smoothly since then. Also, make a wedding email address! That way all your wedding related emails are in one place. It’s a huge help.

I beg to differ I have planned the whole thing and because I know her like and wants. All she has had to do is dress and shoes and sit back and relax. But I have had to plan 3 times now as the first two were not able to happen. This next time I will have her help some but I still wish to keep as much a secret and surprise for here

Well you have one big thing settled and that is your date. The next thing would be to talk to your fiance about budget if you haven't already and start looking at venues. Deciding what you want your wedding to look like and where you see yourself getting married such as a farm/barn wedding or a historic venue for example. Then I would start with your other major vendors such as photography, DJ, Catering etc. It helps to get a wedding planner so you can keep track of things. Also, all inclusive venues may be nice but some cost more for it to be all inclusive then to hire your own vendors.

Also I know everyone here reps this app's planner, but if you love pen and paper like me, invest in a good wedding planner book. It is so helpful to collect everything in one spot and having a physical object with weight has really kept me accountable... Well, when I've actually been able to go on tours or do my tasks before corona hit us like a train. But yeah, get a good option from your local bookstore (likely hurting right now due to lack of business) and it will help you work through budgets, guest lists, calendar planning, the whole nine yards. My planning did not begin til I got my book ❤️
