Wedding Planners- Are they worth it?? Do they save you money on your other vendors?

I’m just trying to wrap my brain around our entire wedding budget and looking for vendors, etc. I think it could be helpful to hire a wedding planner, but I’m not sure if it’s really worth the expense... I would love to hear what others’ real experiences have been, good and bad. I appreciate any...

I love my wedding planner!! Since I am having a DW she has been superrrr vital lol. Also, since I haven’t been to many weddings I had no idea on where to start.

I told her my theme and colors and she has been so helpful. She is never pushy or imposing and she has really kept me on track. I am still organizing things myself, but instead of me being overwhelmed by the details, she and her team handle that.

I am am looking forward to enjoying my wedding day. So, in conclusion I say YES to a wedding planner.

My totally saved me and my budget! Also loads of time when it came to talking to vendors! She also got me lower prices on some contracts I had previously signed! If I did it all over again I would have gone with one from the beginning........ the cost I was trying to save by not having one has been no where close to what I spent and what it was paying me by not having one! Not to mention all her connections and affiliations and advice and price knowledge....... I say spend a couple days talking to some and see how they are..... she has given me invaluable service and help
