So something occurred to me tonight. I realized that since my FH and I arent doing a first look as he wants to see me the first time walking down the aisle, many of our photos will be taken after dark. I will be taking photos with my BMs before our 6pm ceremony and so will my FH and his groomsmen so there will be some daylight photos. But photos of all of us together will be at roughly 630pm outside in the dark. Im freaking out a bit about this. Anyone have any night photo inspiration or advice they can share on how they pulled this off?

Talked with FH and he gets why we need to do a first look. We are switching back to it, final answer, as this will give us plenty of time, have daylight, be able to enjoy cocktail hour, and get the best photo opps to capture the moments we want- after all, this is why we hired a photographer

Make sure your photographer brings those extra lights. Because when I have seen nighttime photos with the extra lighting they have been absolutely beautiful

Same here a we actually moved our ceremony up for this reason so we'll have a little daylight/dusk. Is there anything you can cut out/move to achieve this? Even the last 20 mins before sunset can make for gorgeous photos. Otherwise I agree with PP- get a great photographer.

Our photographer took some really cool night ones! They will bring extra lighting and I'm sure they will be beautiful Smiley smile

Edit: just saw your update about the first look - good choice. I didn't regret our first look for one second. Good luck!

A lot of my pictures are gonna be at night I just asked the photographers how experienced they were with night photos and if they have any in their portfolio. Night time pictures are a big thing to me because my venue is absolutely gorgeous at night.
