Wedding Photo booths: Do It Yourself or Pay Someone Else?

The Bride, on June 30, 2019 at 1:20 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8

To help save cost many couples are going with the DIY photo booth where they set up an iPad on a tripod to capture photos of their guests. Others couples are budgeting for their photo booths and going all out with the different options available on the market.

What are your thoughts? Will your wedding photo booth be DIY or will you pay a company to rent their photobooth?

I paid someone to do it but diy could totally be cool too. Camera and props make a photobooth pretty much

I also paid for my photobooth. I had the Mirror Me Photobooth and it was a complete hit at my wedding.

Pay someone else. I’ve been to 5 or so weddings with the DIY and they never get used. I think guests really like being able to get a printed photo to keep!

I really want to make something similar to this because it goes with our theme, but I figure guests can just use their phones to take pictures. I do have a camera and tripod I can set up, I just don’t see it getting used.

I agree guests definitely want a printed copy of the photo they take.

That's a great idea, just make sure they text you all of the pictures they take. Better yet, they can post them on social media using your hashtag. Have a little sign next to the photo booth.

Definitely 😉! Did you get a lot of good pictures from your hashtag (if you used one)?
