What food did you provide if anything for the wedding party while getting ready? Did you cater it?

We're ordering a tray of sandwiches from Walmart, and also picking up a small tray of fruits. A few bottles of soda and some donuts.

We got ready at MIL's condo and she and my mom very kindly got muffins, coffee, and fruit for breakfast, then catered sandwiches and sushi from a grocery store nearby for lunch. we brought some of the leftovers to the venue so we could pick at it during the afternoon while we did pictures. definitely have food for your WP, otherwise you'll be famished by the time the ceremony rolls around, also as a thanks and courtesy to your awesome friends and family!

I won't starve them! Lol I'm just getting ideas. My wedding is a late lunch, so just breakfast/snack foods should be good.

It was only 3 of us. We told the DOC what to get us from Panera.

In the morning, my Mom and I ordered room service.

My gram insisted on having a catered brunch that morning so she paid for it and we are having a Tea menu with finger sandwiches and fruit, some other sides like pasta salad and stuff like that and an assortment of teas. I am so grateful she chose to do this so none of us have to figure out who has to leave and get food or something, I would suggest catered if you can swing it just so you don't have to worry about picking it up or anything.

We got to the venue at one, so we brought platters of sandwiches and cold salads and donuts. They took care of their own breakfast before coming to the venue. Dinner was at 7.

My friends wedding I was just in had bagels, muffins, fruit, string cheese, granola bars, coffee, and mimosas which was great. We all started hair/make up at 7:30am though, had to leave for the church at 12:30pm and the ceremony was at 2pm. Three hour pics/party bus and I was SO hungry. They did have popcorn, chips for the bus that wasn't enough. I think sandwiches are a good lunch option. But I since yours is a late lunch wedding I think breakfast food will suffice!

I would recommend protein of some type, even just peanut butter. And then some sugar snacks to give them a push until the reception.

When it's testing day for my students, I tell them high protein, no carbs/bread Or at least very little. And then I give them mini snickers or jolly ranchers while they take their state tests to push them through that last bit of drowsiness

We had Panera bagels with fruit, water, coffee and mimosas for breakfast. I had lunch catered from a local cafe and it was a sandwich or wrap and a side of chips and roasted red pepper dip, potato salad, or pasta salad. We also had snacks and drinks on the party bus. Nobody went hungry on my wedding day lol

Honestly, I haven't had anything at Panera that I didn't like. Please go - your life will never be the same. lol

The hotel we are at the night before, and for the wedding night provides a bridal breakfast or brunch! They bring up food and drinks while you get ready. It was about 13/pp but worth it, in my opinion. We do not have to leave or worry about delivery!
