Wedding party gift for grandparents?

Because I Said So, on August 18, 2010 at 9:08 AM Posted in Planning 0 1

We've got 1 set of grandparents attending our wedding, my fiance's. They're not part of the processional or wedding party technically, but they will of course be at the rehearsal and dinner because they're close family. Everyone else at the rehearsal is getting gifts from us- the parents, groomsmen, attendants & our reader. I would feel bad not giving his grandparents something you know? But it's hard to think of ideas and get them designed and shipped at this late stage, we're less than 3 weeks out. It would be easy to send them a framed photo of us after the wedding, would that be good? Also they’re both getting boutonnieres along with the wedding party before the ceremony.

That sounds good. If you were looking for suggestions, I was going to say what my grandparents would love, grandma a brooch and grandpa a watch. But yeah, a framed photo of you two sounds like a very nice personal gift.
