Wedding party color coordination

All of my bm's have the same gown. It's your preference though

Yea my bridesmaids do as well. It's more of my aunts and uncles and his family that want to coordinate because they're going to be part of the church presenting certain items to us.

My mother will match my color scheme as well

I only knew of 1 wedding that did this which was my cousins but she's a control freak who wanted each family to wear a certain color. So I definitely don't want to come off like that

Typically bridesmaids/wedding party match or at least coordinate, according to what you want them to wear. but if you don't have a preference, they can wear whatever you want!

Do you mean these families members *aren't* in your wedding party? Your original post says they ARE.

If they aren't, then there is no reason you need to give them a specific color to wear.

To me they are because they are my padrinos for my catholic church wedding. They will walk down the aisle before me, they will present the candle and lasso and other things at the church, and they will also be presented at the reception.

The mothers are wearing different shades of my bms color. I couldnt care less but they kept asking.

@nastassia my mom actually wants to wear black because she finds it slimming but I said no only because I feel she will look like she's attending a funeral lol idk that was just my opinion. Also my wedding colors have no black in it so I found it super random.

If they want to coordinate, I see no harm in telling them the wedding colors. A lot of people asked my sister the same thing when she got married.
