Wedding on the 13th?

If you're superstitious, don't get married on the 13th. If you're not, then it's just a number, no one will think it's weird, and you can chose whether or not to listen to your mother. Remember, this is your day, and if you and your FH want that date, then go for it! Don't sacrifice a wedding venue you have fallen in love with just because you don't like the 13th.

Honestly, if you aren't superstitious I wouldn't worry about it. My sister was born in Friday the 13th and I've never considered her to have bad luck. Get over it and plan your wedding.

If you are already going into it thinking it's bad luck then it will be. I personally don't believe it is.

We're getting married on Friday the 13th, that's one of the big reasons why we chose the date!! It's just a silly little detail that we loved, and everyone else thought was either weird or just didn't think of it at all.

Ours is Saturday the 13th and we can't wait to have a Friday the 13th anniversary. We've already mapped out what years they fall in. It's only bad luck if you think it is.

No Saturday the 13th is not a thing and frankly if it was Friday the 13th you would would still be just as married

I think in some situations 13 is lucky

I was going to have mines be on Friday the 13th just for that date lol (fiancé and I are horror fans) but now we changed our wedding for this October

Im getting married on 5/13/2017 and I'm not worried about it at all. Next year it's a saturday so it's fine.

No. I think some people think a Friday the 13th may have negative superstitions, but a Saturday the 13th is fine. 13 is just a number, don't over think it.
