We haven't officially set our date but one of the venues I'm looking into does not have Saturdays open. My fiance said who cares what day it is. Plus if its not a Saturday nobody has to miss college football 😂😂. I live in the south football is religion down here.

I know theres the issue of work but alot of my friends/family work weekends just as well as weekends.

Just wondering the opinion. I've heard its common nowadays but I was just curious.

People do get married all 7 days of the week. If you get married during the week you just have to be prepared for some/most to not make it and be ok with that. We are getting married on Tuesday this year. But it will be New Years Eve

I live in the South too, and I agree that football is taken super seriously Smiley laugh

FH and I are having a Friday wedding because of the date we wanted (the 13th, which haha). Weekday weddings are totally fine!

We are getting married on a Thursday. I could care less what day we are getting married on. It was a lot cheaper getting married on the weekday than on Friday-Sunday.
