Wedding Mani/pedi- Doing yourself or going to Salon/spa?

I'm definitely going to a salon. I stink at doing my own nails!

I have been working with acrylic plus gel nails, and since covid I do my own new set and fills. However, 2 days before we fly to our wedding, I will go to the salon and let someone do it for me. I don’t want another stress added. Doing my right fingers take double as long because I am right handed.

As far as wedding day, I'm an advocate for getting your nails done!! It's nice to be pampered before the big day. But these colors are beautiful for diy!!

I absolutely am horrible at doing my own nails and my hands have a lot of wear and tear on them because of work. I think of it as it is your special day and it would be nice to be pampered and have your hands look as best as they can because there will be a lot of people looking at them and taking pictures.

View Quoted Comment Absolutely! I agree Jessica. I just found out the package I had didn't have anything but a cuticle trim and a coat of clear polish. Just told my wedding planner to find a more involved mani/pedi-something with hydration and color. ha! ha! I can do that much myself. Lol!!
