Wedding is Labor Day weekend.....

In all my excitement of picking the perfect wedding date I over looked the fact that the wedding is labor day weekend. I'm sending out the save the dates in a month, so my thought process is that the guest will have a years heads up to plan around that. Do you guys think this will cause a problem? ...

I'm doing Labor Day weekend as well. I figured important people will give up a holiday to be at your wedding. It's one three day weekend out if the year they can give up. Right?

I would send them in january,
If you are important to you they will go, unless someone has their vacation planned out 9 months in advance, which most people do not, you should be fine.

My wedding is labour day weekend too! I didn't do save the dates but most people knew we were getting married that weekend anyway. Some people can make it some can't and that's okay. It's easier on my wallet that way lol. I sent out my invites in April though to make sure I gave everyone enough time to make a decision.

We got married the day before Memorial Day. It helped our guest list. More than half the guest were OOT, and it being a three day weekend made it easier for people to come. It varies, so I would send out STDs early, and check with the most important people first.
