Wedding Invite listing the location??

Jessica, on January 5, 2020 at 6:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

Question ladies! So... I am sending out wedding invites via email because it is easier to manage for me. Anyway, it says to list location. Do I put the location of the ceremony or reception? They are at two different places Smiley smile

Help please Smiley heart

You should put both locations. In traditional invitations, you would add an insert for the reception details.

Just like any invitation, you must identify where the guests need to be.

Put both, otherwise they will only show up to one.

You will need to put both so people know where to go for both events.

So far I only see a spot for one location 😣 I’m using green envelope as the company for the invites.

Is there a space for additional information or a details area that you can put the reception information in? If not, my suggestion would be to add your wedding website information and have all the information on there.

You put both, as well as the timeframe for both. For example:

Wedding Ceremony at Location A at Five in the Evening

Reception at Location B to follow

You should put both so that your guests will be aware that travel is involved.

A good alternative to email as well is an online form like ones you can make with google forms where you can add as much information as you like and it records all of the responses in one place.

Thanks, everyone for the thoughts on putting both locations. Naturally, it would make sense to put both locations, however, I am going through a company for Evites called "Green Envelope" and can only find one spot that says "Location". So I am trying to figure out if I should put the ceremony there. I would assume yes, the ceremony. I just cannot find a spot to add an insert with reception information.

Thanks for all of the responses!
