Wedding Invitations - Return Address

I have been reading different topics on how to place a return address label, and I saw most said that it should go on the back of the envelope. Would it be ok to put my return address label on the front of the envelope? Also, are return address labels ok to use or should I hand write? Thanks!

My responses are going to FMIL, so I'm putting her address as the return address. Otherwise, it would be to my place. FH and I do live together, but if we didn't, they'd be coming to wherever I lived.

I made clear labels and put them on the back flap.

We bought a stamp and I think it's totally ok to put the return address on the front. Personally I'm going to put it on the back

I put mine on the back and I had one that was delivered to me instead of the intended person. The front may be better for the post office.

Whichever you prefer, but they were printed on the backside of my envelope.
