Wedding Hair & Humidity in Hawaii? Help!!

Hello everyone! I’m planning on getting married at the beach in Hawaii towards the end of the year! One of my concerns is the humidity and my hair. I naturally have thick hair and whenever I’m at the beach, it gets frizzy! Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any hair products or suggestions to keep hair from poofing up? Thank you! 😁🌺

    Not sure which island you are on, but we had our honeymoon in Oahu in November and it wsnt too bad and my curls are more frizz than curls. That being said, my co-worker had a Brazilian blowout, and went to Jamaica with tons of humidity. Her super curly hair turned into these amazing gorgeous non-frizzy ringlets.

    Have you decided what hairstyle you will have on your wedding day? Will you have it up or down?

    I would definitely recommend discussing your worries with your hairdresser to see if there are any frizz protection products that you could use in your hair while you are in Hawaii.

    Some things that I have heard about reducing frizzy hair is to loosely braid your hair before you go to sleep to cut down on the amount of friction while you sleep.

    I was just planning on wearing it down since I’ll be wearing Hawaiian lei crown. I will be going to see a hairstylist so I’ll definitely ask about any anti-frizz products. Good thinking! Smiley smile

    I got a brazilian blowout before my wedding and loved it! It helped my hair so much and I would highly recommend it for your wedding.
