So I may have made a mistake and paid a deposit for flowers before meeting with the florist! She came highly recommended by several friends and all said she was great working within their budgets (one had my same budget and one has a smaller budget). I gave her a $2,500 budget and the first proposal came back at nearly $7000, I about had a heart attack! The latest proposal is just over $3000. Is this crazy expensive for what I’m getting? My only instructions were lots of greenery, no carnations, and peonies only in my bouquet to keep costs down.
