Wedding favors

We are planning to do either koozies or plastic cups. We will decide when we choose between keg beer or bottles.

We did personalized beer koozies.

also put out glow sticks and coloring pages w/ crayons for kids.

We hired a photo booth and people got to take home their pictures. Other than that, there were no favors.

I find escort cards to be a bit tedious and a way to waste money because everyone has to crowd around the table looking for their card and they end up getting thrown away

We went to a wedding a month after ours and it was funny because our escort card was addressed to "The Future Mr. and Mrs."

I did welcome bags with goodies inside that was part of our favorites. You received one when arriving to the hotel at checking in for our destination wedding. The bag had tequila bottles, some Tabasco, tajin, tissues, hand sanitizer, hangover kit, among things like itinerary, maps, ect.

My fear is giving lame gifts, lol. I also hate spending money. I don't want to invest in so many favors that people won't even take because they're lame. lol

We have a few ideas...

1. FH and I love to play the dice game FARKLE, so we'd like to share our favorite game with our guests to take home. We can buy dice in bulk, print the directions on a card and put them in bag.

2. We are planning on having a photo booth, too, so each guest will also be able to take home a photo strip, which comes in a clear plastic frame with a magnet on the back.

3. Since it's a midday summer wedding, we're going to have hand fans and hats.

4. We are having a cigar bar as well, and guests can take a box of matches home with them.

5. We're also having a dessert bar with whoopie pies, which guests can take home in a container.

omg, now that I type it out I think I am having too much stuff.

This is something we might cut, just for cost reasons (we're paying for our own wedding) as well as the fact that most guests don't care. Haven't completely decided, so if we do have favors, they will be drink koozies our guests can use at the reception and take home with them.

I am ordering shot glasses from Etsy. They say: Take a shot we tied the knot.. In my wedding colors then it says our names and wedding date!! I can get 108 of them for $120 I thought that was a grwat deal!!

Oh yeah, we are also having a magic mirror photo booth for sure!! And I was debating on a candy bar as well but not 100% on that one.. Good luck finding yours!!

Hand making these to double as place cards. I folded the origami butterflies, glued, and coated them. I'm going to write the guests names in the front and table number on the back
