Hey y'all, in attempting to budget out the wedding, favors have accidentally turned into a big ticket item. All the ideas we think people would really like/use are a little too expensive, and all the things we can afford seem like stuff our guests will throw away the minute they get home. Are any of you guys really excited about the favors you're giving, or are you trying something different/opting out of favors altogether? Just curious to hear what other couples are doing. Smiley smile

Thank you! My cousin actually did something similar for her wedding 2 years ago and donated to Susan G Koman Breast cancer foundation. You can really make it your own. I actually just had a box of business cards printed on vistaprint so I could design what I wanted and choose the wording. It was only $15 to print them. This is the proof they sent me.

We are doing Krispy Kreme donuts. It will cost us $30 for 7 dozen of them. I already bought treat boxes for $10 and I’ll make the tags on my cricut with cardstock I already have.

We did gem truffles! They were pricey but we only have 27 guests, so it didn’t break the bank.

If you give a favor, make it edible. If you make a charitable contribution, don't mention it.

We are getting married in October and I want to do candy/chocolate covered apples. I’ve been to a bunch of candy shops and the best price I found was quoted as $3.50-$5 an apple. We are having about 100 people.

These are so cool!!! Would you mind sharing where you got them? I think I'd like to give them to the mothers and maid of honor as gifts.

Of course! The site is Promise Me Chocolate. The shipping was so fast and they were in temperature controlled packages. I can’t wait to give them to our guests!

We are doing antler wine stoppers off Party City online. They have a lot of favors for under $1 each!
