Wedding Faux Pas?

So, I'm still laid up in bed due to my back and it got me thinking of the weddings I've been to in the past, and the things I was witness to that I didn't realize at the time were big no-no's. The last wedding went to, I was also a co MOH in. Looking back there were so many things that she shouldn't have done. The things I remember:

1. Cash Bar, nothing else to say.

2. No meal, and it was at a meal time...I really don't remember any food besides a cupcake.

3. There was a typo on the invite that they crossed off and rewrote. Just looked kinda tacky IMO

There were more but I don't remember haha

And from a wedding last year, I got a STD and then no invite. The excuse was that the venue was more limited than earlier anticipated. I was not thrilled.

Anyway, I'd love to hear some you've seen!

I don't know if this qualifies as as a 'no-no' (after all, I always say, "Have the wedding you can afford") a good friend had no music for her processional, so she shouted, "I'm coming, everyone hum!" so we did. Then the reception was in a community center but it really felt like a highschool gym-- big, cold... I kept glancing up, expecting to see basketball hoops at the ends of the room. Still, they were married and did not ask their guests to pay for *anything*, which is what I always hate.

I went to one where it was an open bar only for the bridal party and guest. Everyone else had a cash bar and honestly I think that's worse than all cash. My FH was a groomsman so we didn't have to pay, but I had friends asking me to get them drinks all night, which I did. Just made it uncomfortable and really changed the mood.

Oh and we went to a PPD. Cash bar (with rock the cash bar signs), not enough food, not enough seats/tables/space, and the food made me super sick. They also kept claiming weddings were dumb and they weren't having one, but they sure as fuck had "vows," a first dance, a wedding cake, a wedding gown, a guestbook, and wanted gifts.

I just remembered one!! I was the plus one to my sister once (I was also friends with the bride), but we were only invited to the ceremony... I didn't know that until afterwards -_- it was family and close friends only apparently. We walked past their cocktail hour as we left to our car. I was pretty disappointed, but I was 14 or 15 I think and didn't realize just how rude that was.
