Okay ladies, I cannot find a better way to phrase this haha. But I will be doing my first real wedding dress shopping in the next couple of weeks. Okay ladies, I cannot find a better way to phrase this haha. But I will be doing my first real wedding dress shopping in the next couple of weeks. I have a lot of anxiety about this because not only am I a bigger girl, I have well..let's just say it like the title: I'm well endowed. I wear a G cup, so naturally I have a hard time when it comes to clothes shopping. I'm afraid any dress I will get (especially in this new trend of strapless dresses) will make them look like huge blimps or be the star of the show when I don't want them to be. I want this to be a fun thing, but shopping for clothes in general is a real sore subject for me.

I've been told to look for empire and a-line, but can't find anything cute in empire at all.

So ladies in the same predicament as I am, show me you in your dresses, or what dresses you are looking for as well, tips, advice, great boulder holders, etc.

Edited because I can't type.

Just let the lady know what you're looking for when you go dress shopping. They're really good at taking your ideas and finding a dress to go with them.

I'm not a G but I am a 36DD, my neckline is very similar to the one e=mc2 posted, thick straps and a v-neck. I don't mind showing mine off a little bit but I didn't them to be the center of attention!

I got the Maggie Sottero Priscilla and it fits nice it sucks you in plus fits well in the chest. Also Alfred Angelo sapphire 890 fit really nice even being plus size (this dress usually is seen with the purple top part of the dress, but you can get it in so many colors including solid white)

I feel your pain.... I dreaded dress shopping.... I went a couple places and it was awful! Definitely check out bombshell. They were very nice and the selection was amazing! The woman who helped me also stayed within my budget. There were tons of dresses under $1000... My FMIL actually picked my dress up off the rack (it was a bit more).... I have H cups and I think they are well restrained without a uniboob look. I can't wait to see it altered to fit me!!! Also I purchase normal bras at LB.... FMIL wants me to go to Harps, but I am definitely going to check out bra~vo now! Thanks for the suggestion!

Edited: my cell wouldn't post the pic

I am an H cup, so I totally understand! My dress is strapless. A good seamstress and good undergarments is all you need!

Thanks Rosemary! All of their dresses are like $50 off and I have a coupon for $20 and trying to stay under $500 so I'll definitely be checking it out. Not a bad price at all!
