Hello I’m looking for recommendations on cheaper places to get dresses most bridal salons I’ve seen are $1300+ for a dress and I’m not in love with David’s bridal, any suggestions on online wedding dress shops you’ve used or cheaper bridal salons in/around Cincinnati? (Within 30-45 minutes)

You might also consider looking for a nearby bridal dress consignment store, for example in Austin TX there is a store called "Second Sumer Bride" where they sell preowned but also mostly unworn sample dresses. You can really catch an amazing designer dress for less at those types of stores Smiley smile

Hi Brooke! I just got my dress at the Reading Bridal Outlet. I HIGHLY recommend them. It was a wonderful experience and they have a lot of options under $1,000!!

I think still white is the best. You can get many high end name brand dresses for that amount. Why not? But if you insist on retail there's a place here I'm Louisville that seemed like they had many gorgeous dresses at many different prices. The place may be nation wide. Idk. But its called USA Bridal and Regiss Bridal.

I am doing separates and so far I've gotten my top from Etsy (shop is StylishBrideAccs) and I LOVE it. Still looking for a skirt. I knew I wanted something different and I didn't find anything I liked at any traditional shops, and didn't want to spend more than a few hundred.

I just found a girl on Etsy who has a 2,000+ 5star reviews and said she could make me dream dress for $990 or $800 if I purchase with this code she offered and It’s bit more than I would love to spend because I was hoping not to be that close $1,000 however it would be my dream dress and one of a kind none the less sooooooo I’m highly considering doing it

I really want a blush tea length dress with a detachable tulle ballgown skirt and she even has a skirt that she offered to make me that has an ombré feature to the skirt and with ivory and blush tones and I’m having a hard time not justifying her pricing because for a custom gown that’s everything I want and more it’s really hard to say no lol

Totally! I would go for it. I would love an ombre skirt- I originally wanted to do a white top and dusty blue skirt but now my bridesmaids are wearing dusty blue so I may go with white.

I would describe what you want and ask her for photos of similar gowns she's made.

I did and it turns out that some of the dresses she already makes are very similar to the ones I’ve been dreaming of and then I asked her if she can take the skirt of a dress she made and make it a detachable skirt that I could put over my tea length gown

I went to DB and basically got ignored since the one lady had like 3 ladies so I never got much help since she literally went in with the one lady to pull her in every dress and zip her up when there was at least 3 people with her. The dresses in that store were so ugly anyway 85-90% were those big poofy dresses or heavy I’m like no and walked out tried 2 dresses and hated them both.

I went to a local place few towns over and they had so many dresses and they had a good range. So check around. Ask around your friends and family maybe they know a coworker or someone that found a great place Smiley smile
Azazie has great dresses. I didn’t know my size so I had to go in and look.

It would be a long drive for you from Cincinnati, but I got my dress at Jillian’s Bridal outlet. All the dresses are samples, extra stock, etc, you buy them off the rack, and ALL are $700. They had so many dresses in my size, I almost had a hard time picking one. I ended up getting a beautiful Sophia Tolli dress that’s usually $1300. It was so nice not to worry about the price while I was trying them on bc they’re all $700!

So I have talked to friends who said Etsy was a nice place to find a beautiful inexpensive wedding dress. I reached out to someone who has a boutique and we talked for a while about getting a dress made. I am not going to go that route but the dress was nice. I was a little nervous about that but getting a dress online for my wedding scares me anyway. However, I have checked out Azazie and they look nice and legit.

I second BHLDN! I got my dress there and loved their options way better than other high end bridal salons I went to (I think I tried on around 50 dresses lol)

Check out Still White! It’s a website that sells pre worn dresses at a range of price points for much cheaper!
