Ultimately, I got the opinions from my mom and close friends and they all agree on the second dress, so the second dress it is!

It most definitely is! I just purchased it a couple days ago and it should be arriving this Friday!! I'm so excited. I fell in love the moment I saw it. It's unique/vintage with a modern flare and it's everything I was looking for. Everyone I showed loved it and agreed that it's the one so that was confirmation for me to get it! I got it from a resale site but it's unworn (tag still attached) so that was a bonus for sure and over 50% off!

If you can’t stop thinking about it I would suggest trying on others and seeing if that one is still on your mind. If it is, buy it!!!

I went back-and-forth with their customer service team discussing the alterations, etc and now just have to wait 45 days (not sure if it’ll be more or less)

View Quoted Comment You definitely should wait as long as possible. My previous wedding (been married before) I got my dress altered 6 months in advance because my seamstress was going on medical leave. I didn’t try it on again until right before the wedding and it was too big because I had lost weight 😬

My current seamstress advises the same. She said often brides will lose weight before the wedding so she’s going to start my alterations a month prior.
