For the most part I have been watching from afar and seeing everyone else post about their big day and the preparation for it! Though, I am at the point of picking out my wedding dress and am looking for some honest feedback.
I went by myself and tried on this dress and instantly had fallen in love with it. (Clearly it is a sample size that was too small, so please disregard the button popping on the back.) I cannot get it out of my head and I can see myself walking down the aisle in this dress. Though, I had gone dress shopping with a few that are close to me and they had all seemed to like a dress that was, to me, more "extra" than what I would like. (More beading, more traditional lace, longer train ect.)
I have an appointment set to go back on Tuesday to show my mom the dress in person, and I also had planned on ordering the dress that day as well, though, I have a few thoughts in my head as to if I should go with a dress I love, even though not expected, or if I should try and search to find something that may suit the taste of my family more.
To set the scene for the day, my FH and I will be getting married outside in our venues gardens. The color scheme and decor will be organic with dust blue and hints of dusty orange, amber and gold accents (muted sunset colors) and greenery will be used as a decor staple as well.
I intend on adding draping off the shoulder straps in the same lace that is as the bottom of the dress, as well as potentially building up the neckline a bit so it is not as low.
