Wedding dress struggle

Ashley, on July 16, 2019 at 6:28 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
So I have a ddd chest and curves and I'm having a hell of a time finding a dress. I want a simple, lace dress nothing crazy and I been spending late nights looking online and shopping and I can't find anything. I don't want to spend more then $300 on a dress.... realistically $100, but it's so crazy. I'm so stressed out.

I would go try on dresses first so you know what style of dress fits your curves best. After you know the style of dress you want (mermaid, ballgown, A-line, etc.) you can start looking specifically online for those styles.

As for your budget, maybe your best option would be looking at a preowned wedding dress. I know there are some gorgeous dresses off preownedweddingdresses.com that are possibly in your budget.

I am a 34G and my dress is a Maggie Sottero. I spent $800, but maybe you can find a preowned one online for cheaper. I was surprised as to how well it fit in my chest (I even had to get the bust taken in!). I definitely second the suggestion of trying on in person and then looking online for a cheaper price.

This was my struggle. I'm a 38 DD/DDD. I initially had an idea of what I wanted and it was less expensive to order online. I did go and try different styles on and thank God I did because what I wanted and what fit my body type are 2 completely different things. Once you know for sure what fits you best and get your proper measurements, you can search online.

I have a similar chest size and like others have said, go try on some dresses just to get a feel for the style. Check David’s Bridal for trying on and affordable dresses. They have $99 sales every few weeks

Date twins! I'm a 32DDD and my dress holds the ladies up pretty well. I've tried on so many dresses and I found that I like dresses with straps more than the ones without.
I recently ordered a dress off of Fashonnova for $45 before discounts for my reception and the quality is amazing. That would be an option to start if you want to try on dresses from home without spending a ton of money.

I am a 40F and was struggling. I found this one at David’s Bridal that has a corset lace up back and I think it actually trims down my chest which I’m happy about lol and it was on clearance! I think corsets are great for girls with bigger busts.

I cant help in the chest department but as others have said I recommend just trying on all styles to see what you like the best and then check out azazie and cocomelody they both have beautiful dresses in that price range!

I have a large DD chest, and actually didn't have as many problems as I usually do. You could try going up a size in a dress and having the rest altered down. Also, I don't know what size you are, but if you're plus size, torrid sells fancy white gowns that could totally work for a wedding!

I'm a 32F and I didn't even think of that being an issue because I'm a size 2 until I started trying on dresses. We had to order a dress 4 sizes up and the seamstress will just have to take it in at the waist. I think your best bet with your price point is to shop around for wedding dresses at non-wedding stores. Try department stores or looking on amazon. Good luck!
