Help! This wedding dress is 38 bust, 30 waist and 41.5 hip. It’s a fitted dress. My bust is 36, my waist is 30, and my hip is in between 41.5 and 42. The next size up is 39.5 bust, 31.5 waist, and 43 hip. It has really cute sheer paneling on the back of the dress. I’m worried if they have to take it in a lot of the next size up on the top, that I won’t have that sheer back paneling. If I got the next size up the top would have to be taken in 3. 5 inches. Should I size up? The material is Satin charmeuse so I’m not sure if that has any give to it.

The independent (not associated with a bridal shop) seamstress that you will find via Yelp for your area will make adjustments as necessary for a perfect fit and matching your vision. So they can give you the back design you want.

Most formal fabrics have no give/stretch.
