I bought my dress yesterday and had the SAME exact thoughts this morning. Now, I can't stop looking at the photos of it and I LOVE it. I'd sleep on it a little while before you make any brash movements. You look gorgeous. My eyes didn't go to your stomach area at all! I agree with other posters, you might feel different after alternations.

You've got to remember the bridal shop is going to order the dress in your size anyway or a size bigger for alterations. I wouldn't worry since the dress looks great! I would take the suggestions of shapewear like PP said! Good luck

You look great in that dress! I think the shape is really flattering on you and the dress is very pretty. Your wedding day you should feel beautiful and confident so if you feel like you wont then its maybe worth it to shop around a little more. You may end up going back to it even after trying on other dresses.

I got shapewear from Shapermint for $20 and I really like it. I would give that a try and then see how you feel in your dress!

I think your dress looks beautiful and that you look gorgeous in it. I know we are our own worst critics, but you’re beautiful in that dress spanx or not. I would maybe look for a mermaid slip or underskirt. That’s what I bought to wear under my dress and the top part (which is high waisted and goes beyond the hips) is made more like shape wear and smooths things out.

Media has taught us to tear ourselves down so much, but the thing is, most of us would never tell another woman what we say about our own bodies. We should flip the Golden Rule a bit. “Do unto others as we would have done unto us” we should also speak to ourselves the same positivity we speak to others.

I honestly felt the same way when trying on dresses! Even if I really liked the way it looked in the mirror I would feel like it looked different in a picture. My mom took pictures of each ones and I would look at them after to see if I really liked them. I say do what makes you happy!

I think you look absolutely lovely if you're looking for shapewear I highly recommend honeylove...they're phenomenal and they have a variety to choose from.
