I think she is thinking more along the lines of a button type thing.. although I'm not really sure how that would help unless is super huge. I don't mean that because of my breasts, I mean huge because it would have to big enough to cover my bra if someone is looking at me up close.

Honestly? IDK what she is talking about b/c I can't see it looking at myself straight ahead. she must be thinking about the view from up to.. which is nearly everyone b/c I'm only 5'0.

Could you do a pretty beaded panel to cover the bra? Just at the bottom of the plunge. I’m assuming your grandma can see the middle of your bra between the cups because of how far down the plunge goes? Sorry trying to understand!

The dress is beautiful and honestly I don't see a problem. But I get how grandmas can be. I agree with PP, a little beading will work.

She is a seamstress. That's one of the first things I suggested when she was making it and she said no, it wouldn't work.

I ended trying really hard to find a bra that wouldn't show but would also hold the girls up.. and that's the best i could find.. and I don't even like it.

I would add the same fabric to your bra, at least if you can see it, it matches and or blends in
