Yesterday I put the deposit down on my wedding dress.

I have such anxiety regarding it now. I love it on and although it still needs to be fitted and it is too big I do love the look, I know it has to be fitted for my frame and pulled in at the waist. However I have had some people comment that I should go for a tighter more figure showing off dress. I wonder if it is normal to doubt your decision or if I should try to select a different dress from the same boutique instead?

I had anxiety over choosing a dress before I settled on this one even.

Any tips on how to handle the anxiety?

Should I keep looking or should I trust the feeling I had when I tried this dress on

I think it looks beautiful on you! I think it’s normal to feel regret considering there are millions of beautiful dresses out there. I felt the same, but after a month I went back in to try on my wedding dress and I fell in love with it all over again and remembered why I chose it in the first place.

First of all...STUNNING!! Dress regret and anxiety is a real thing but you loved something about it that made you say this was the one! Don’t let doubt creep in and take that moment from you nor others with unwarranted opinions! I say to delete all other pictures you might have of yourself in other dresses (I did) and most importantly stop looking at other dresses (online or in store) everything will be perfect!💕💕

Tip: relax and know that you’re beautiful in whatever you wear. The dress is lovely, but a dress doesn’t make the day or the marriage (which is the real reason for the wedding). Of course, if you keep looking there will always be another dress that’s just as beautiful... because there’s no such thing as the “ONE” when there are bajillion beautiful dresses. So be confident in your selection and continue happily planning another area of the wedding. Remember, ultimately it’s really just a dress (fabric & thread) and everyone will love it and compliment you all night. ☺️
