That's a good shade of purple! One of the weddings that I was a bridesmaid in chose a color very similar to plum, and everything turned out super pretty.

    Hi Katlyn,

Do you have any pictures of what you're planning on doing? I want to do the same colors, but I don't know where to start. Thanks!

I’m doing the same!! Wedding is next June and going with oranges and corals with some tans and like light blue or green as accents. Still always off so it’s slowly coming together. Azazie hs good bright colors for bridesmaids dresses if your still on the hunt!

I don't have any super great pictures unfortunately! Here are a few palette ideas I saved, so maybe these will help?

Choosing wedding colors is a personal decision and often reflects the couple's style, preferences, and the overall mood or theme they want to create for their wedding. Here are some steps to help you choose your wedding colors:

    1. Consider Your Personal Style: Think about the colors you naturally gravitate towards and that represent your personal style. Consider the colors you enjoy wearing or that are prominent in your home decor.

    2. Venue and Season: Take into account the venue where the wedding will be held and the season in which you're getting married. Consider how the colors will complement the surroundings or the seasonal atmosphere.

    3. Color Palettes: Look for inspiration in color palettes from various sources such as wedding magazines, websites, social media platforms like Pinterest, or even nature. Explore different combinations and see what resonates with you.

    4. Mood and Theme: Determine the mood and theme you want for your wedding. Colors can evoke different emotions and set the tone for your special day. For example, soft pastels may create a romantic and whimsical atmosphere, while bold and vibrant colors can add a sense of energy and festivity.

    5. Cohesion and Contrast: Think about how the chosen colors will work together and complement each other. Consider the contrast between the main color and any accent colors you may want to incorporate.

    6. Test and Visualize: Once you have a few color options in mind, create color swatches or mood boards to see how the colors look together. This will help you visualize the overall aesthetic and make an informed decision.

I like the combination of green and white if it is a countryside wedding embracing nature.

We adjusted our color palette to better suit everything. Burgundy, sage, navy, gold and wood grain. 😊
