Wedding cake

Since when is this mandatory? I’ve seen dessert stations, donuts, ice cream bars, etc. Plenty of people ditch the cake lol

It is not mandatory to have cake!


If you’re hosting a formal dinner, I think serving dessert is an important part of that. But, it doesn’t have to be cake. And moreover, a wedding doesn’t require a formal dinner !
We didn’t have cake at our wedding. Still successfully and happily married!

Ok! That’s awesome. Thank you. I’m getting so many people saying that I need to pass out sheet cake or go get something from Vons or the grocery store to cut cake. Honestly, if I cut a cake I would want it to be good and I don’t want to pay for a cake to be cut.

You all have good die in a doughnut or candy bar. Let them pick something. What gets left I’ll give away.
