He purchased mine almost 2 years before our wedding because the jewelry store where he purchased my engagement ring was having a going out of business sale. I got 2 bands for the half the cost of 1. I just purchased his bands a couple weeks ago. And we're getting married in October.

We bought our rings in May for our August wedding (so 3 months before) that has now been postponed (but we're still getting married, so glad we got the rings!)
