So I have came to terms with getting married at the court house just because I was promise a big vow renewal next year. But I still want to show up and show out lol. I told him no matter where I get married I will be wearing a wedding dress. So my question for everyone is , what is the best attire to wear to a courthouse wedding? I was going to have my seamstress make me a dress similar to Solange wedding dress but do y'all think thats over doing it? I love this dress. My appointment is next Saturday for my measurements.

Let me know what y'all think and what would be the best attire?

Girl! If you want to wear a wedding dress, wear a wedding dress!
I'm getting married at City Hall and I got a Justin Alexander Dress, and I'm having it altered to my liking. I don't plan on doing a vow renewal anytime soon so I went all out.
Personally I didn't like Solange's cape, but she looked good regardless.
It's your day, wear what you want!
I'm an old soul so I looked for a combination of modern and vintage, everything about this dress screamed me.

What I think? I don't like that dress at all. It reminds me of game of thrones.
The best attire? Whatever you want to wear. If you like it, wear it.

We're also doing a courthouse wedding for military reasons with a vow renewal 2 years later. I plan on wearing a big dress for the vow renewal only but I also want something nice for the courthouse ceremony. He's gonna be wearing his suit uniform from the army and I want to wear a dress suit. I'm a huge fan of old classic movies and I love those suits they wore when they got married in films noir. Back in those days people would just elope all the time and they just wore such beautiful suits. Something like this. But I want the jacket to be more like a coat so it would be the same length as the dress.
