Website/RSVP insert question

Megan, on June 19, 2017 at 1:21 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

I have taken the advice of some of you ladies and decided on doing a website and having all information on there. Guests can RSVP on there as well. My question is how should I word the RSVP insert/card? I won't be doing different cards for rsvp, directions, etc. cause all of that is going to be on my website. Can you guys help me out with some advice? I have decided to make my invitations and inserts myself. So these are not pre-worded or being ordered. Thank you!!

Hi! We did the same thing! I think. We put our invite and the RSVP card in the envelope only. Direction, accomdations, alternate RSVP, etc are all on the website. If you're planning on including stamped RSVP cards but also giving the online option - maybe on the bottom of the RSVP card, "for your convenience, you can also rsvp at ourweddingwebsite.com." Or maybe on the bottom of the invitation?

I'm going this route. Here's what mine says:

We have reserved ___ seats in your honor.

Please visit (knot website) to RSVP by August 8.

Alternatively, you may email (bride's email)

If you have dietary requirements, song requests, or advice to share, please leave it in the "send a note to the couple" section on the online RSVP form.

Additional information available online: Directions and venue details

Doesn't need to be an insert, you could just put 'please RSVP at www.whatever.com by 10/10/10 at the bottom of the invite.

I just sent the invite, and had everyone go to the website (opposite side of the invitation) with my phone #. People that were not computer savy, just called me and i did their RSVPs. No one complained...

    Thank you, ladies!

@Sarah yes I only want the invite and one card in the envelope.

@MrsEtoB I love that! I may still your wording Smiley winking

ooh, @Natalie I did not really think of that option!!

@Z_Runner I am hoping it goes something similar to that for us. Most of our guest list is very computer and smart phone savy so I am praying for a no complicated time.

Same as the other girls, I did this as well. On the back I put the wedding website and something along the lines of: to find directions, rsvp, and learn more about the event please visit www. etc and then it worked iut!

I used the envelope liner to print "Please RSVP at (website) by (date)

My invite has two sides so on the back I said "for additional information and to RSVP please visit our wedding website" then I listed the web address as well
