For your wedding websites, how did you do them?

A lot of sites like WeddingWire offer templates. So just take a template and input your own info in them.

We're on the fence and I'm not sure that anyone would actually visit it? I've never seen one as a guest at any other wedding. But from reading about various issues with the free templates, I think we might use those for inspiration and go to a custom free site like Wix which says it can have its own custom url and email.

If you like the templates on WeddingWire I would start with those! They are a bit limited in customizing functions but can automatically connect to your guest list and registries if you added them to your WW profile. It's also free - most other places you will have to pay monthly or annually to host your website, even if the template itself is "no charge." If you are very particular about design or having a custom URL, however, I would try Squarespace or Wix!

I used a template off of Wix and completely customized it to my liking. It's styled from our previous wedding color scheme and I refuse to change it to match our new one lol. It's super easy to navigate. We decided to buy the domain though to have our own customized URL as well. You can keep the wix URL for free.

We used theKnot. Because we had so many issues on others with the registries not loading and what not. This one worked. Smiley shame

Ditto. We struggled with the templates on a lot of them, and the Knot also had their own honeymoon/cash registry.

I used The Knot. It was super easy to use and link everything. Most people I know used them for their sites as well.
