I added my guest list on wedding wire and I waned to test out to see if the RSVP works on the website, but when I type in a guests name it doesn't work and says no match found. Am I suppose to do something with the guest list so they are can RSVP through our website?

Do you have it set to use first and last name? I made mine set to do first or last name.

Did you go to the actual site or click the preview site button in your dashboard? The same thing happened to me but when I went to the actual site it worked!

Click on the settings icon in the corner of the RSVP page. You have to be logged in as the administrator.

I'm having problems with this as well. I have a few guests who have said they can't find their name but when I go to the website and type their name it works...

Hi brittany! You need to add the last names of your guests in the guest list tool ! Right now you just have their first names and household name. I could successfully find your guests by searching just their first name, but in order to make the search easier I would go in and update you guest list with each of their last names!

Same thing Michelle! You need to add your guest's last names into the guest list!

When I go to RSVP it shows multiple events and some times shows meal selection. I've opted to hide these two things, but they keep popping up! I un-selected "track meals" and selected one event for my guests to RSVP to.

Hi Emily! We updated several of our planning tools earlier this week, so there are some new settings! You can read more about the changes and updates here: Planning Tools Update.

The online RSVP options now automatically reflect your guest list information - so if you've added online RSVPs to your wedding website, guests will see the option to RSVP for every event they are on the guest list for. If you do not want certain events to display as an RSVP option, please remove all of the guests from that event! Here is step-by-step instructions on how to turn off RSVP functionality for events .

I took a quick look at your website and didn't see any meal options popping up in the RSVP process, if you're still seeing this please email support@weddingwire.com with a screenshot so they can look into it!

How can we group guests so that if you search one person in a household, it will prompt them to RSVP for everyone in the household instead of having to search each name individually?

On The Knot you can do this, but I prefer to use wedding wire.

    Hi Marissa!

Our RSVP tool currently does not support searching for household groups but I am happy to share this feedback with our Development Team! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@weddingwire.com if you have any additional questions or feedback.

I think you CAN do this. Go to Guest List > Click on a Guest > Scroll to Additional Guests and link anyone else in the household here.

Adding Household Members for RSVP_Part 1Website rsvp 1

One member in the household searches their name:

After hitting "Select" all of the linked members show.Website rsvp 3

    Hope that helps!
