Wearing white at Rehearsal

Is it weird to wear a white dress at the rehearsal? I’m from Australia and we don’t typically do rehearsal dinner so this tradition is a new concept to me. We actually had a legal ceremony earlier this year for many reasons. Anyway we are having a big spiritual ceremony and reception in June with our families and friends and I have a fancy bridal gown for that.
I thought it might be nice to wear the dress I wore for the legal ceremony to our rehearsal. It’s a knee legth, casual style dress and I’m thinking this might be a good opportunity to get another wear out of it. But I’m not sure if wearing white is a faux pas?
