Wearing my dress twice

I am wearing my dress both for my minimony and for the big wedding. I put a lot of money into that dress, so I'm going to wear it as much as I can haha. How many brides can say they got to wear their dress on two occasions???

I did recently decide to change into a more casual dress after the mini ceremony for dinner, so I don't spill something on the expensive dress before next year This would also give me the chance to wear my dress and feel like a bride, since this will be when I'm actually legally marrying my FH, but then wearing a different dress later means I can post pictures and share about the day with people without them seeing the dress, since I still want that to be a surprise for people coming to the wedding next year.

Wear it again if you want!

If I can get back into it on our first anniversary Madison, I think I would wear my dress again. I just have to make sure to get it cleaned and preserved so it will still be in good enough shape.

I am wearing mine to both my minimony and my big celebration next year. However, after the minimony on 10/23/20 we are going out to dinner so i'm gonna change into the dress i intended to wear for my bridal shower/rehersal dinner. - that way i don't risk getting it dirty in someway or form.

Other than the fact that i want to get as many wears in my dress as possible!! For us, it makes it easier next year to NOT miss our cocktail hour since FH wants his first look at me walking down the aisle - so this will allow that to happen and then next year we can take pictures before the ceremony.

I'm thinking of doing a couple things different though this year so next year there will still be a bit of a surprise to it. - this year - will be wearing a flower crown and hair down (next year getting it done with a braid half up) doing my own make up this year, and also might add a belt for this ceremony only.

I wore mine for our ceremony in April. After our ceremony and a small lunch at our house, I wore it to the B&B we stayed at, and even to the restaurant that night to pick up our carryout dinner (every thing had just closed for covid). I absolutely would recommend this. It was so fun to have everyone KNOW we just got married (even though I usually hate attention).

I plan to wear mine next summer when we do a vow renewal with reception. I absolutely love my dress and the way it made me feel. How many brides get to do that twice? The silver lining of being a covid bride.
