Wear the ring or not to???

So we are getting married 9-1-23. My Fiancé purchased my wedding band as part of my holiday gifts. It was a tad too small with my engagement ring in it. So, we had to send them out to be resized, all together, and soldered. He wanted me to go ahead and do it now vs waiting till closer to the wedding. I am now battling myself on wearing it, since the band is now soldered onto it. We've been together six years, so its not like it's all brand new. I just am scared to bring bad juju or something. But when I tell you I LOVE my ring and cant wait to wear it..... ugh! Would you wear the ring anyways, or just wear your promise ring till the wedding and let it remain a special sacred symbol?? Help!

Hmm your ring is already soldered, before the wedding? I wouldn't wear it because I'm a littlestitious and it's bad luck to wear the wedding ring before the wedding. 😂

I am way too superstitious, I wouldn’t wear it. Also, when you’ve already been together that long, there probably isn’t much that’s going to change after you get married. Finally getting to wear your wedding ring could be the only thing that changes and makes it feel “real” and exciting.

Like you, my ring was soldered before the wedding. I wore mine, because I love it and wanted to wear it! Do whatever you want to do!

I got mine soldered about 2 months ahead of our wedding and didn't want to wear my wedding ring prior to the wedding. It was definitely a weird feeling not wearing any ring after having it on for over 2.5 years. If you still want to have something on your finger, you could get a silicon band or a cheap ring from Claire's or something

Yea i had to get it sized. My fiance was like lets just solder it now. so I was like meh fine why not. Now I am like oh nooooo, what did I do lol

Id probably wait but you can get a fun inexpensive stand in ring to wear in the mean time. I got one to wear when traveling so my finger is not bare. Good luck!
