Wear Dress Twice?

We will be having a small immediate family only wedding ceremony followed by dinner. The following weekend we will be inviting all family and friends to cocktails and light bites to share a toast! Kind of like an engagement party but post-marriage. My question is - do I wear my wedding dress to the cocktail event? I love my dress and being in it. Plus I want to maximize the investment. At the same time it feels a little strange and excessive since I am not involving the larger group in the ceremony. Would love to get your opinions!

If it s clean I d probably wear it at least for a little bit. It would be fun to wear it again, people will want to see you in it, and it ll nice to have photos of you in it with more of your loved ones. Do what you feel most comfortable with though!

I’d definitely say wear it twice if you want! Don’t worry about it being excessive. Especially if you want to get the most out of your investment. I think it’ll be fine!
